NZ 2012 Booking Now - Only 3 spots left for all next summer!

There are only 3 spots remaining for our NZ 2012 trips so I am letting all our blog readers know about it so that no one misses out for lack of the relevant information!!

WEEK 5 (FEB 4 - FEB 11) has three spots remaining and WEEK 6 (FEB 11 - FEB 18).

Taking bookings now. Trip price is $3500 for a full week of 1:2 guiding and includes licences, flies, transport, accommodation and guiding by professionally accredited guides licensed to work in New Zealand by the Department of Conservation. Several returning clients have made the comment that they don't know how we do it for $3500, such is the quality of the guiding service and the overall package.

A $1000 deposit is needed to secure your spot. This can be paid via credit card, EFT, cheque or cash.

Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, Señoritas and Cervezas

Tongue in cheek subject as I am now married with a child but nevertheless I am pulling together another trip to Los Roques for July of this year. Sing out if you are interested as I am taking names from today to see whether we can pull this off at such short notice..

Trips will be for 6 days fishing/7 overnights twin share (sharing boat/guide/room). We are doing them at this time of year to maximise the fishing opportunities as there is good fishing for all species and it is the least busy time due to the US trout season being in full swing. This also augers well for those wishing to swing by the US after Los Roques to chase trout in Montana (this is what we are doing).

Getting there goes something like this ....

• Melb/Syd – LA


• LA – Miami


• Miami - Caracas


• Caracas - Los Roques.

On the way back you can simply jump from Miami to Denver or Salt Lake City and then to Bozeman or Billings in Montana if you wish to hit the absolute peak of the dry fly fishing in this legendary part of the fly fishing world.

The fishing on Los Roques is insanely good and many who travel the globe chasing bonefish rate this as the best fly fishing there is. Not to mention the lovely accommodation and fresh seafood meals every night on the roof of the posada. Great fun with plentiful bonefish and trophy options everyday for the more experienced bonefishers among you. With the Australian dollar strong this may be an excellent opportunity to do this trip.
